For more than 25 years, Automatic Data Collection (ADC) has been essential to companies striving to be more efficient, productive and cost-effective.  Now more than ever, the use of ADC technologies is an integral part of the bus9iness process.  Today's companies require even faster, more accurate, real-time data collection that is on-line and customizable.  These systems must integrate seamlessly into global supply-chain systems, sharing information in real-time.  As a result, demands on ADC systems from companies involved in logistics, manufacture, transport and distribution are greater than ever.

To meet the demands placed on today's as well as tomorrow's ADC system, Percon has developed an open-standards, real-time solution: the Falcon 320/325 series of data collection terminals.  The Falcon 325 offers real-time connectivity solutions for both legacy and stand-alone PC systems, including terminal emulation, client/server development tools and wireless applications.

  • Our Latest Solutions

The Falcon 320/325 series is the most recent innovative technology from Percon, offering a 16-line screen, 486-class processor, 33 MHz operating speed, integrated scanning, real-time RF connectivity, user accessible PC Card slot and more.  The Falcon makes data collection tasks easy, fast, accurate and portable.

The Falcon 325, our latest wireless data collection terminal, is particularly ideal for data collection over wide areas or where physical distances prohibit hardwired systems.  Our 2.4 GHz radio frequency terminal have raised the standard in information management data collection, allowing information to be transmitted instantly, in real-time, without the use of hardwires and cables.  The Falcon 325 is ready to go where the work is.

  • The Perfect Fit

Integrating the Falcon 320 or Falcon 325 into your system does not require exhaustive and costly training or set up,.  If a legacy system is in operation, the Falcon 325 solution is surprisingly easy to implement.  For example, in an RF-enabled warehouse using an AS/400 system, an administrator uses the PowerNet TN configuration utility to cut and paste reformatted screens for the Falcon 325 terminal.  These reformatted screens are then loaded into the Falcon 325 with PowerNet TN (terminal emulation software with formatter).  The user or administrator then logs-in to the AS/400 system and uses the existing host application to communicate with the database via the Falcon 325.  It is that easy!  In minutes, a wireless system is ready to capture data.

  • The Falcon 320/325

The Falcon 320 is our newest series of handheld portable data terminals.  Our engineers kept in mind the importance of fast, accurate scanning in demanding environments, as well as the terminal operator's user performance.  The end result-the Falcon 320 series of portable terminals rugged enough for the shop or warehouse floor, but ergonomically designed so operators can scan and enter data more easily, comfortably and productively.  The terminal has a large, easy-to-read screen, a large number keypad and an easy-to-use scanning trigger.  The Falcon 320 series is compatible with the complete Falcon family of development tools, data collection and software accessories.
